Will the text get blurry?+
No. Only images are resampled. Text, fonts and vector graphics are kept exactly as they were, so they stay perfectly sharp and searchable.
How much smaller will my PDF get?+
Scans and photo-heavy PDFs usually shrink 60–90%. Text-only PDFs are already small, so savings there are modest — and if a file can't be improved, you keep the original.
Can I compress a password-protected PDF?+
Yes. Enter the password when asked; the compressed PDF is re-encrypted with the same password.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?+
