How it works

  1. 01

    Add your font files

Drop or choose TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, EOT, SVG, TTC, DFONT or Type 1 fonts. Several at once is fine.

  2. 02

    Pick the output

Choose WOFF2 for websites, TTF/OTF to install. Optimization is on by default.

  3. 03

    Check the preview

Every language in the font is previewed live — Bangla, Arabic, Hindi, CJK and more — so you can see shaping is intact.

  4. 04

    Download

Download each font, or everything as a ZIP. The Web kit option adds ready-to-paste @font-face CSS.

Built for every language

Most converters rebuild fonts and silently break complex scripts. Pixmorph doesn't.

Shaping stays intact

GSUB, GPOS and GDEF — the tables behind ligatures, conjuncts (ক্ষ, ন্ত্র, क्ष), Arabic joining and mark positioning — are copied byte-for-byte. Glyph IDs never change.

Lossless where it matters

TTF/OTF ⇄ WOFF ⇄ WOFF2 ⇄ EOT only change the wrapper, so the font is exactly the same. TTF → OTF converts curves exactly; OTF → TTF stays within 1 unit of the original.

Optimized automatically

Unused data is stripped and the best compression is used. Untick languages you don't need to cut file size by up to 90% — kept languages still shape correctly.

Supported font formats

9 formats in, 7 formats out — any to any.

TTFread & write

TrueType Font

The most widely supported desktop font format — works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

OTFread & write

Web Open Font Format

Compressed web font supported by every browser, including older ones.

Legacy web font for Internet Explorer 6–11.

SVGread & write

SVG Font

Glyphs stored as SVG paths — for old iOS Safari, icon workflows and design tools.

TTCread & write

TrueType / OpenType Collection

Several fonts in one file, e.g. a whole family or CJK fonts. Each font is extracted.

DFONTread

Mac Data Fork Font

Classic macOS font suitcase. Each font inside is extracted.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert font to the format you need?+

Drop your font file into the converter above, pick the output format, click Convert and download the result. Several fonts can be converted together and downloaded as a ZIP.

Will Bangla, Arabic, Hindi or other complex-script fonts still work?+

Yes. The OpenType layout tables that control conjuncts, ligatures, joining and mark positioning are kept byte-for-byte and glyph IDs never change, so text shapes exactly as in the original font. The live preview lets you check every language before downloading.

What does “Optimize automatically” do?+

Lossless mode removes data browsers and operating systems never use (digital signatures, generator stamps, hinting caches) and uses maximum compression — the font renders identically. Smallest mode also removes TrueType hinting and glyph names, which is ideal for websites.

How can I make a web font much smaller?+

Choose WOFF2 and untick the languages you don't need under “Languages to keep”. A multi-script font can shrink by 80–90%, and the kept languages still have all their ligatures and conjuncts.

Is TTF to OTF (or OTF to TTF) lossless?+

TTF → OTF converts TrueType curves to PostScript curves exactly. OTF → TTF approximates PostScript curves with TrueType curves within 1 font unit (about 0.05% of the em) — invisible at any size. Kerning, features and metrics are unchanged either way.

Are my fonts uploaded?+

No. Fonts are converted inside your browser and never leave your device — safe for licensed and unreleased fonts. Please make sure your font licence allows conversion (most open-source fonts such as Google Fonts do).

Which format should I use for my website?+

WOFF2 is supported by every modern browser and is the smallest. Choose “Web kit” to get WOFF2 + WOFF plus a ready-made @font-face CSS file.
