Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the vectorizer?+
It detects the real colours in your image, traces every region exactly and fits smooth Bézier curves within half a pixel, keeping corners sharp. Logos and flat graphics usually match 98–99%+ — the score under the preview measures it on your actual image. Photos are turned into a stylised vector with up to 64 colours, as with any vectorizer.
Which format should I download?+
SVG for websites, Figma, Canva and Inkscape. PDF or EPS for Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW and print shops. DXF for AutoCAD, LightBurn, Cricut Design Space and CNC/laser software — each colour is on its own layer.
Can I remove the background?+
Yes — tick Remove background and the colour around the edges becomes transparent, leaving just your logo or artwork.
Why does my small or blurry image look rounded?+
Tiny images hold little detail. The vectorizer upscales them smartly before tracing, but a larger, sharper source always gives a better vector. Use the Precision and Corners sliders to fine-tune.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?+
No. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device, so confidential documents never leave your computer. That also means there's no upload wait.
